We are hiring an Activities Coordinator to join our specialized program at Southern Peaks Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) in Canon City, Colorado.

As an Activities Coordinator you will be a versatile, self-motivated, results-oriented professional who can help plan and facilitate activities under the direct supervision/oversight of the Activities Supervisor. The Activities Coordinator is involved with coordination of activities both on and off campus and relaying plans to both their supervisor and operations staff. The position ensures adherence to the mission, vision and values of the organization and the Southern Peaks Clinical service policies and procedures. Activities Coordinators will plan and implement activities related to community service, special events, and incentivized activities both on and off campus with approval from the Activities Supervisor. 

Salary: $22.00 per hour

What We'd Like for You to Have: 

• Experience: Two (2) years of similar field experience.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with psychiatric/behavioral program.
• Education and Training:
• Candidate must have a Highschool Diploma, Associate’s Degree is strongly preferred and may substitute for 2 years of the required experience.
• Non-communicable diseases
• Physical exam.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks; including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
