Wage: $58,656-$77,000/yr. 

Location: Canon City, CO.

We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Clinicians I-IV. In this role, you will provide counseling services to individuals using a combination of therapeutic and recreational interventions.

All applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as thorough background checks, including those conducted by the FBI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conduct patient assessments and gather all necessary information to determine the appropriate level of care.

Conduct groups, family, and individual counseling sessions and potentially lead psycho-educational or family groups.

Administering assessments to evaluate patients' needs.

Ensure that all documentation is completed promptly according to the CTP clinical procedures.Regularly report the patient's progress to the supervisor.

Coordinate and refer patients to community-based supportive services to supplement their treatment and counseling.

Travel to outlying sites to provide training and therapy to patients.

Maintaining an OTP caseload and conducting annual updates, including CCAR, DACOD, and others,

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

HS Diploma or BA with a CAS Certification, and/or

Master’s degree in sociology or related field. 

Candidates must obtain CAS certification within 18 months of their hire date,

and/or

Licensure:   

Requires licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. 

A Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) and a professional license are preferred. 

Must obtain CAS certification within 18 months of their hire date. 

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years working in the mental health field. 

Previous substance treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred. 

Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams. 

Other:          

Understanding the ASAM level of care criteria is preferred but not required.     

Solid communication skills. 

Proficient computer skills are required, including electronic records.

CPR and first-aid certification (initial training and renewals will be covered by the agency.).   

Valid driver's license and insurability.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to assist other employees in moving patients. 

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and drive.

A combination of office and clinical settings with a high degree of patient interaction.

Behavioral Health Clinician I

HS or BA with CAS Credential $58,656 – 60,000

 

Behavioral Health Clinician II

Master's degree with no CAS $62,000

Master's degree with a CAS of $64,000

 

Behavioral Health Clinician III

LPCC & LAC $64,000 to $68,000

(depending on the program, experience, and other licenses).

 

Behavioral Health Clinician IV

LPC, LMFT, and LCSW - $68,000 to $77,000
