Job Description

Job Type: Hourly

Wage: $25.29

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

Performs inspections to assure all new residential and commercial construction and facilities conform to zoning and building codes including building, mechanical, community sanitation standards, Colorado State Manufactured Home Installation Program and any other related codes and regulations. Inspects new and existing buildings and structures during construction, repairs, and alterations to ensure compliance with applicable State and County building codes and regulations. Reviews plans and ensures adherence to specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

Valid and current Colorado Driver’s License. I.C.C. Building Inspection Certification preferred, otherwise required within 18 months of hire date. Colorado State MHIP Inspector certification preferred, otherwise required within 18 months of hire date. I.C.C. Plans Examiner Certificate preferred.
