Job: Certified Nurse Aide- PCU

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for patient care including ambulating patients, taking vital signs, assisting with feeding and answering call lights.  Assist in other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Prefer one year experience as a Certified Nurse Aide; Colorado Certification

Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program

High School diploma

Current BLS Certification

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuous movement throughout the hospital

Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting

Continuous standing (up to 7 hours)

Ability to lift 30% of body weight

Ability to read and understand English

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to interact with physicians, patients, families and staff in a professional manner in stressful situations.

Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature
