Purpose of Job: 

The Student Information TOSA is highly proficient with database applications and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail. This individual communicates clearly and professionally, delivering outstanding customer service while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. The successful candidate approaches challenges with curiosity and resilience, using strong problemsolving abilities to create efficient, reliable solutions that support the team and organizational goals. 

 

Essential Duties/ Major Accountabilities:

  • Assist with and support the development, production, and ongoing maintenance of GOAL's master schedule. 

  • Assist with and support the management of Post-secondary Workforce Readiness (PWR) system(s) and platform(s). 

  • Assist with and support the gathering and analysis of GOAL's academic performance data. 

  • Assist with and support the management of student data within GOAL's SIS. 

 

Professional Learning 

  • Provide live in-person, live virtual, and pre-recorded trainings. 

  • Assist with and support the implementation of New Hire Orientation, as assigned. 

  • Provide high quality support and customer service to GOAL approved programming. 

 

Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with and support school leaders to ensure our systems are functioning effectively and efficiently. 

  • Use different stances (coaching, collaboration, consulting) based on staff needs, alongside fostering adult learning.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License 

  • Must reside in Colorado 

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a secondary content area (earned at a regionally accredited college/university) OR 

  • Bachelor's degree and completing at least 24 semester hours of specific coursework from a regionally accredited college/university (as determined by transcript review via the CDE Endorsement Worksheet) OR 

  • Bachelor's degree and passing the Colorado State Board of Education approved content exam(s) 

 

Experience:  

  • At least three years of experience working as a teacher in a school required 

  • At least two years of experience with specific content/programming required 

  • At least two years of experience working in a high school with at risk youth preferred 

  • At least two years of experience with online teaching preferred 

  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction, knowledge of different learning styles and challenges, and the ability to apply them to individual students in a virtual instruction setting 

  • Become a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert within 1 year, with school support and funding 

And other background demonstrating application of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: 

  • Demonstrated work history or ability to effectively teach, coach, mentor teachers/educators. 

  • Proven ability to design and deliver learning activities that are effective for all types of learners.   

  • Solid background using excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, verbal, and written communication skills. 

  • Knowledgeable and comfortable working with technology.  Able to competently and consistently apply problem- solving skills towards technology issues and communicate solutions to others.   

  • Well-versed in conflict resolution skills.  Ability to mediate conflicts (e.g., between students, staff, parents, or community members) while promoting school core values. 

  • Has a demonstrated history of understanding the benefits of continuous learning and takes personal responsibility for professional development. 

  • Prior/current positions reflect the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding students, families, and coworkers. 

  • Ethical, honest, and good-humored
