Quality Inn & Suites in Cañon City is now hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Laundry Attendants / Housekeepers. We are looking for serious, reliable, and honest candidates who can work in the laundry department and assist with cleaning motel rooms as needed.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered and presented to the highest standards of cleanliness. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service, particularly in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that delicate fabrics are handled with care.
• Inspect all items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.

Skills

• Proficient in laundering techniques and understanding of fabric care labels.
• Experience with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains or damages on fabrics.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Full-Time and Part-Time shifts available
• Morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts as needed

Pay:

• Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
