Trinidad Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous maintenance experience required, preferably in a healthcare, long-term care, or commercial facility setting.

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.

  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to maintenance emergencies.

  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility.

  • Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, beds, call bell systems, doors, and other facility equipment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems remain in excellent working condition.

  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance projects while maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including life safety and environmental standards.

  • Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and required documentation.

  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

  • Assist with emergency preparedness, inspections, and regulatory surveys as needed.
