Job Description
The role involves working closely with the nutritional services team to enhance the quality of meals provided within the organization. The Nutrition Assistant will contribute to menu planning, ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, and support the team in delivering daily meal services efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment focused on promoting healthy and nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Kitchen Manager
- Will be responsible for all aspects of dishwashing operations & keeping within sanitation guidelines
- Be able to work at a moderately quick pace
- Service of food in the cafeteria
- Assists with cleaning & dishwashing during service breaks
- Perform daily clean-up to include sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters, carts, cleaning sinks, and washing dishes
- Perform assigned responsibilities quickly in order to assist in other kitchen tasks when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
