Dental Hygienist needed for our private, high-tech, dental practice in beautiful Salida. We are dedicated to quality dentistry and providing optimal oral health care to our patients. Looking for a confident, highly motivated, and loyal team player to provide extraordinary service to our patients.

Essential Duties:

• Positive, friendly, and outgoing demeanor
• Ability to build a good rapport with patients
• Self-driven, focused and detail-oriented
• Ability to co-diagnose and stay interactive within the exams with the doctor and patients
• Possess excellent communication skills with patients, doctors, and team members
• Utilize intraoral camera and other tools to educate the patient
• Be comfortable discussing treatment needs and educating patients in oral health care
• Recommend preventative treatment and provide knowledge for patients to make the best choices for their overall health
• Assess perio needs and make appropriate recommendations for treatment
• Invested in staying current with industry changes and promoting services that benefit the patient’s health
• Utilize computer software for scheduling, treatment planning, and clinical notes
