ABOUT THE ROLE

Visible leader and unwavering support for Amrize's safety, health, and environmental policies. A key senior member of plant staff/leadership team whose responsibilities include helping determine improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site while simultaneously leading efforts towards these goals and improvements on a department area level. Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills. Champion of change. Recognized change agent with the ability to motivate others towards a vision of the future.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • A key senior member of plant staff/leadership team whose responsibilities include helping determine improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site while simultaneously leading efforts towards these goals and improvements on a department area level.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring of robust reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis and condition monitoring and providing the technical expertise for the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for plant equipment.
  • Technical management of the preventative/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance work order system with coordinated execution of the area operations and central maintenance teams.
  • Provide Technical expert level leadership, guidance, and direction for reliability team and plant area teams in a manner consistent with our values.
  • Accountable for management and overall results within process area based on defined KPI´s, including development of area budgets, capital requirements, major maintenance projects and implementation plans.
  • Benchmarks and challenges the department to achieve continuous improvement in all areas. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the department area(s) in a manner consistent with Our Values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals.
  • Use Amrize systems, such as MaC, SAP, PMA, CBM, etc., to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance and support, demonstrate and facilitate the concepts of development and involvement of employees, continuous learning and continuous improvement in a value based high performance organization.
  • Accountable for providing leadership, development and coaching on individual performance to direct reports to achieve business results. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, coaching skills with a proven track record of driving improvements in others and creating high performance work teams.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency for area of responsibility, including planning, organizational and project-management skills. Recognized change agent with the ability to motivate others towards a vision of the future.

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Required Work Experience:7-10 Years. Experience in heavy manufacturing environment is heavily preferred.

Required Technical Skills: SAP, AutoCAD, Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)

Travel Requirements: 0-10%

 

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plant
  • Experience in practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, VFD’s preferred
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved
  • Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
