About the Role:

Are you passionate about helping others lead more independent and fulfilling lives? Join our team at Starpoint as a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a Residential DSP, you’ll provide essential support in a residential setting (PCA, Group Home, or individual residence), helping individuals with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and community participation. Your work empowers individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible.

  

Shifts Available:

We offer a variety of shifts to fit your schedule, including:

  • Day Shifts
  • Evening Shifts
  • Overnight (Sleep or Awake)
  • Weekend Shifts
  • Split or Flexible Shifts

Requirements

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
  • Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, bathing, dressing,      cooking, and cleaning
  • Support individuals with transportation to appointments and community outings
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive home environment
  • Encourage personal choice, dignity, and self-advocacy

 Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass background checks and required training
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Experience  working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate!
