Job: Respiratory Therapist

Responsible for all aspects of respiratory care of hospital patients including routine nebulizer therapy, blood gas, electrocardiograms, O2 therapy and responding to emergencies. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Licensed Respiratory Therapist in State of Colorado

Basic computer skills

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent

BLS Certification or obtain within six months

Certified or registered by AARC

Current ACLS or obtained with in six months

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuous movement throughout the hospital

Continuous standing (up to 7 hours)

Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting

Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weight

Ability to read and understand English

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to interact with patients, families and staff in a professional

manner in stressful situations.

Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature

Ability to remain calm in crisis situations

Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
