The Retail Pharmacy Technician supports our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and delivery of medications, as well as ensure the safe storage of drugs and devices. This position operates under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with Colorado state law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, mixing, assembling, and packaging medications.
• Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of all drugs and devices.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy storage and safety regulations.
• Organize and update records to ensure proper tracking of medications.
• Support daily operations to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Operate the POS system, assist patients in OTC purchases, answer phones and complete clerical work as needed

 The position will be based in Westcliffe, CO. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Certification with the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred and/or completion required within 1 year of hire.
