Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 This position will provide clinical coverage in different areas of the clinic and hospital as needed. Responsible for patient care including assessment, treatment and education utilizing knowledge of basic medical principles. Providing open and timely communication with patients and families. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current CPR

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • CNA's are expected to enroll and completed MA Education Classes
  • Tuition reimbursement available to those that qualify
  • Graduate of accredited nursing or CMA program 
  • Current license or certification

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting. Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weight.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis/stressful situations
  • Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
  • Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature
  • Ability to interact with physicians, patients, families and staff in a professional manner
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Continuous standing (up to 7 hours)
  • Continuous movement throughout the clinic and hospital
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Two (2) years experience preferred

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Current Colorado License for position/ Graduate of CMA program
  • Current CPR
