Job Description

The Road & Bridge Operator operates trucks and other light and heavy equipment in the repair and maintenance of County roads and bridges. May need to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The employee may be assigned to report to either the Salida or Buena Vista location. With successful overall work performance and proficiency in Operator I responsibilities, the employee has the opportunity to progress to the Operator II position. Full job description attached. 

This is a full time non exempt hourly position with a wage range of $21.95 to $26.88. Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability, HDHP health savings account with county contribution, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, holidays and "birthday holiday", EAP, retirement plan with county contribution and wellness program incentives.
