Job Title: Seasonal CDL Rafting Bus Driver - Full time and part time positions available.

Job Summary: Drivers are primarily responsible for driving a school bus loaded with passengers and staff, while also towing a single-axle trailer for our rafting trips. Our drivers are also required to perform daily vehicle safety inspections, be capable of a bit of guest interaction, and some light cleaning and maintenance of rafting vehicles. Working hours are usually 8-4. Must have Class A or B CDL with a P2 endorsement and air brakes. Willing to train the right individual. Hiring both full and part time drivers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the assigned vehicle and/or equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to assigned routes and following established defensive driving practices.
• Maintain daily light maintenance and safety checks of all assigned transportation vehicles and/or equipment i.e., daily inspection of vehicle for cleanliness of seats, floors and sills; inspection of all gauges, tires, wheels, lights, chains, cords, vehicle damage and general outside appearance, and perform pre and post trip inspections as required by the Federal DOT and Echo Canyon.
• Have a positive attitude and be helpful and courteous to other employees and guests.
• Functions as an ambassador of Echo Canyon! Sharing the Echo Experience with guests and coworkers alike. Continually strives to exceed our guest's expectations and create memories for our guests and staff.

Basic Requirements:

• Must possess a valid CO, CDL License, Class B, Passenger endorsement with no air brake restriction, as well as a current DOT medical card.
• A pre-employment drug screening is required, and all drivers are subject to possible random drug screens over the course of the season.
• Able to lift 30lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Preferred Experience and Special Skills: Previous guest relation skills preferred. Two years CDL driving preferred but not required. Must have a clean driving history.
