We are now offering relocation assistance to find the right RV Service Advisor to join our team.

Job Summary
We are a family owned and operated RV dealership for 29 years. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking RV repair services. Your responsibilities will include assessing customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, scheduling customer repairs and ensuring a smooth workflow between customers and the service department/sales department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assess their RV service needs.
• Accurately document customer requests and vehicle information.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments.
• Follow up with customers regarding their service experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Coordinate Warranty Repairs/ Communicate with the manufacturers for repairs.
• Coordinate RV deliveries with the Sales Department for a smooth delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Mechanical knowledge related to automotive services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity RV repair is desirable.
• Ability to effectively upsell services based on customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on building rapport with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• A passion for the RV industry and commitment to continuous learning.
