• Applicant must be proficient in the driving of twenty-passenger vehicles, exercising proper care in maneuvering in traffic.
• Applicant must be at least twenty-one.
• Applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Commercial Drivers’ License with Class S or P endorsement with air brakes from the State of Colorado.
• Applicant must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the general public.
• Observes and follows established City policies and procedures in the daily conduct of the job.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified.

NECESSARY APPLICANT TRAITS:

• Desired standards include previous bus driving experience and general knowledge of the City and its history.
• Ability to deal with the public in a calm, constructive, and reasonable manner.
• Establish effective working relationships with peers and supervisors.

BENEFITS/WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a seasonal position at $16.00 per hour depending on qualifications.  The Tourism Transit System runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, seven days a week with occasional private bookings and community event transportation.  Daily hours:  10am to 4pm
