What You’ll Do

• Prepare and maintain electronic and paper medical records, ensuring accuracy and chart integrity

• Assemble medical records for patient discharges and transfers, including scheduling follow-up appointments

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the unit by answering phones, welcoming visitors, and assisting nursing staff and providers

• Manage unit supply inventory by monitoring expiration dates, placing special orders, and requisitioning supplies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree preferred

• Minimum of three (3) years of responsible business experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Certification as a Unit Coordinator preferred

• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• BLS within 30 days of hire.
