Job Description:

We’re seeking a calm, capable, and highly organized individual who thrives in a live-event environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities at once to join our Venue Coordinator team.  The Venue Coordinator is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing a variety of meetings, events, weddings, and festivals. This role ensures that all logistical aspects of events run smoothly, including facility setup, equipment needs, and compliance with safety regulations. The Venue Coordinator serves as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal staff to provide a seamless event experience.  The ideal candidate: 

• Remains composed under pressure, makes thoughtful decisions in real time, and brings a steady, solutions-focused presence to every event.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams, setting expectations early and following through consistently. 
• Has strong problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt quickly when plans change or unexpected challenges arise.
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence and professionalism when working with a wide range of personalities, as well as the ability to balance client needs with venue policies, logistics, and staff capacity. 
• Takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and understands how small decisions impact the overall event experience.
• Is flexible and reliable, with the ability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as required by event schedules. This role is rooted in live events, and availability during non-traditional hours is essential to ensuring successful outcomes for clients and guests. 
• Is comfortable being on their feet for extended periods and assisting with light event setup when needed. 
• Above all, we’re looking for a collaborative team player who brings resilience, accountability, and care to their work and contributes positively to both the client experience and the internal team.

 Starting pay is $23.45 - $28.14 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications. An individual pool pass to the Salida Aquatics Center is included with this position.
